What is a testimony?  In one sense of mind, it’s an opportunity to explain the facts.  But for a believer, the facts become praise for what God has done.  At NCG, we strongly believe that Christians are given an amazing role in God’s Kingdom – not only a beautiful relationship with God, but the ability to work with God to see His will be done here on earth.  Psalm 9:1 makes it very clear for us:  I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. (NKJV)  God has given us an opportunity to share His wonderful works and we have embraced that by setting apart the last Sunday of each month for a time of testimony.  Any and every believer is offered the chance to stand up, come before the church, and tell of God’s supernatural work in their lives, or the lives around them.  The church is a living body, and therefore the greatest work comes when the people of God go outside its walls and engage a world that cries out for a Savior.
